Rules for Safe and Enjoyable Play

 

• Pass the puck around so everyone gets involved in the game and enjoy it too

 

• Give some space to opposition players who are slower than you or may not be as strong on their skates

 

• No body contact or hooking please. 

 

• No taking players into the boards.

 

• We protect our goalies:

  • The puck is dead when it is in control of the goalies.

  • No cutting in around the defence directly in front of the goalie.

  • Play stops immediately if goalie gets puck in face mask

 

• Checking from behind on breakaways can be dangerous; why not let them shoot.

 

• Slap shots are not allowed.(stick should be on ice when shooting)

 

• No retaliation please. Let the executive deal with it.

 

• Goalies change ends at half time.
